Fibroid he Silent Tomentor Of Women

It's been quite an age that I posted in this blog, I have been so busy but I have no choice than to drop a line today.

Just recently, a friend and former colleague of mine died due to complications from fibroid operation. This has made it mandatory for me to share my personal experience and also share the experiences of other people who have been through this road in order for those coming behind to learn and take the right decisions.

MY STORY:

I got married about nine years ago and was so ignorant about the term, fibroid, so it came as a shock when I was told that what was growing in me was not a baby. They told me it was fibroid that was as big as a five month old pregnancy. I was shattered. I didn't know what next to do. Thank God for the wife of one of our church members who was a matron. She took up my case and I had to undergo an operation after trying all sort of drugs and herbs, many of which I have forgotten their names.

Life had not remained the same ever since because I have been trying to conceive ever since with no result (I am believing that God will answer my prayers soon).

TODAY:
These days, I hear a lot of women asking questions about this fibroid and would really like to help in my own little way. I have started doing my research and I will share my findings here and on my Facebook fan page, which I will share with you next week, God willing. I know that many people are in my shoes and would love you to share your experience too. We can draw strength from each other and lesson the burden in our hearts. We can also help those looking for answers.

Next week, I am going to the basics of this thing called fibroid. Please join me then.

Have a blessed week.
